Rehearse the whole buying committee
A buying committee rarely decides as one: the CFO defers to operations, IT can veto, and the champion needs a story to retell. Tacity builds a twin of each member and lets you practise the meeting with all of them in the room, each reacting in character and moving warmer or cooler as you speak.

Read the politics before the meeting
- Who decides, who influences, and who can block.
- Who defers to whom, from what they’ve said and how they’ve acted.
- Each member’s measures and open objections, with the source and date.
- What changed at their company that touches the decision.
Practise with everyone in the room
Tick who’s in the room and describe the meeting. Whoever your point concerns most replies, and the others react. After each reply, the coach shows each person’s move, warmer or cooler towards you, and what to try next.
Test what you’ll send
Before the follow-up email, the proposal or the offer goes out, run it past the committee’s twins and see how each is likely to read it. It’s a simulation, labelled as one, and nothing is sent without your approval.
Questions
What is a buying committee?
The group of people at a customer who shape a purchase or renewal: typically an economic buyer such as the CFO, operational leaders, IT or security, procurement, and a champion.
How does Tacity know who defers to whom?
From evidence: what people said in meetings and email, and how decisions have gone. It’s a reading, marked Sure, Likely or Guess, and it cites its sources.
Can I rehearse with only some of the committee?
Yes. Choose who’s in the room for each practice, from one person to the whole group.
