AI roleplay for customer success

Most AI roleplay tools are built for sales development: cold calls, discovery and objection drills with made-up buyers. Customer success conversations are different: the people are known, the history matters and a renewal is at stake. Tacity lets CSMs and account managers practise them with twins of the actual customers.

The conversations worth practising

  • QBRs and EBRs with the whole room, deck included.
  • The CFO renewal call: payback, price and term.
  • Escalations after a missed target or a service failure.
  • Expansion into a new site, team or region, and who else has to agree.
  • A new stakeholder you’ve never met, such as a VP who just joined.

Why generic personas fall short after the sale

In a renewal you aren’t talking to “a CFO”. You’re talking to this CFO, who said last quarter that payback has to land inside two quarters and who defers to the COO on operations. A practice partner that doesn’t know that will drill the wrong objections.

How Tacity does it

  1. Twins from your evidenceBuilt from your CRM, meeting notes and transcripts, email and the customer’s news, with every point cited and marked Sure, Likely or Guess.
  2. Practice in contextBy voice, deck included; in a group call each twin knows who else is there.
  3. A coach on every answerWhy the twin answered that way, and what to try instead.
  4. Checked by the real meetingAfterwards the twin’s predictions are scored and its evidence updated.

Questions

Is AI roleplay useful for customer success, or only sales?

It’s most useful where the conversation is high-stakes and repeatable: QBRs, renewals and escalations. The difference in customer success is that the people are known, so practice works best with twins of them.

Do we need customer data to start?

No. CSMs can start with made-up clients and general twins of your market, then move to twins of real customers when you connect your CRM, email and meeting notes.

Is this a monitoring tool for CSMs?

No. Practice is for the person practising. Trainers see practice and readiness, not recordings of real customer meetings.

Which tools does Tacity read from?

Salesforce, HubSpot, Fireflies, Fathom, Granola and Google Workspace today, plus public news and any notes or transcripts you upload. Gong, Zoom and Microsoft 365 are coming soon.
